Disabling RDC (tire pressure sensors)
Disable the RDC (tire pressure sensors) system on BMW vehicles.
Very often, when “shifting” to other wheels of a BMW car, the owner may see a message: “ The RDC tire pressure monitoring system is faulty ” (or similar similar notifications). This phenomenon is due to the fact that the car from the factory was produced with the option “2VB Tire Pressure Monitoring RDC” and each wheel was equipped with a tire pressure sensor, respectively, after installing other rims, these sensors are physically absent and the on-board computer warns the driver that the system does not work.
This option is mainly present in cars manufactured for the US market, and also, it could optionally be installed on BMW cars that were produced for other countries.
In order for all auxiliary systems to work properly, there are 2 options:
- Reprogram BMW from RDC to RPA. In this case, all data will be taken from ABS sensors, as on cars produced for the European market. The system will work without the presence of tire pressure sensors.
- Install pressure sensors in new wheels.
We can reprogram your BMW from RDC to RPA.
Programming is done using original BMW equipment . All work is carried out by qualified specialists.
It is possible to perform programming remotely , if you have a specific cable for communication with the machine (for E-series d-can cable, for F-series ENET cable), as well as a laptop and the Internet.
