EME Repair
We carry out a complete repair and restoration of the EME ECU on BMW cars.
What is an EME block?
EME is an electronic unit that includes a complex of electronic and power components for controlling a car's electric machine. Its main purpose is to convert the direct voltage of a high-voltage battery pack (up to about 355 V) into a three-phase alternating voltage for the operation of an electric machine. Conversely, if the electric machine is to operate as a generator, the electronics of the electric machine converts the three-phase alternating voltage into direct voltage and thus can charge the high voltage battery pack. This happens, for example, when braking energy is regenerated.
Both of these modes of operation require a bi-directional DC/AC converter that can function as an inverter and rectifier.
Typical faults:
- No communication with ECU
- Does not work
- Battery not charging
Why choose block repair?
- First, replacing an EME module with a new one is very expensive.
- There is a kind of blockade of EME components. This means that you will not be able to install a used EME component from another vehicle.
The EME block was installed on cars:
- BMW I3 / BMW I3 Rex
- BMW I8
- BMW X5 (F15) Hybrid
- BMW 3,5,7 ActiveHybrid
We have a successful experience in the repair and restoration of these blocks. All work is carried out as quickly and as quickly as possible.
