AdBlue (SCR) Removal
Disable Adblue (SCR) in BMW cars.
AdBlue (SCR) in BMW cars (popularly referred to as urea) is a system that is actively used in the catalytic selective reduction of vehicle exhaust gases. The car in which this system is installed can significantly reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere, which today is very relevant for European countries.
But not always in our climate, the SCR system works properly, so often car owners want to disable this feature. Reasons why you most often need to disable AdBlue on BMW :
- incorrect operation of the measuring instruments of the SCR complex at the time of freezing / thawing in the climate of Ukraine;
- self-limiting engine power by a nitrogen sensor when exceeding the euronorms not in force in the country (Euro-5, Euro-6);
- the possibility of failure in the complex neutralization of harmful oxides;
- absence of Adblue product in the system — power drop (̴ 40%);
- filling the system with reagent — an extra waste;
- Poor carbamide solution quality → system breakdown → unforeseen waste.
We can completely disable the Adblue system on your BMW by reprogramming the vehicle’s computer.
We can also perform a software shutdown of SCR (AdBlue) remotely, if you have a specific cable for communication with car: ENET or ICOM.
